Description
Letter from Daniel Webster in Washington, D.C. to William Morris Meredith regarding the alleged illegal discharge of a seaman of the American schooner "Atalanta"is transmitted to the US District Attorney, Meredith in copy. This letter was from the US Consul in Trinidad de Cuba. Webster says if the documents referred to in the letter have not been received copies will be provided in order that legal measure may be taken. (Non enclosure)
