Description
Letter from Daniel Webster in Washington, D.C. to US District Attorney William Morris Meredith. A letter about the alleged illegal discharge of a seaman of the American schooner "Atalanta" is transmitted to the US District Attorney (Meredith) in copy. This letter was from the US Consul in Trinidad de Cuba. Webster says if the documents referred to in the letter have not been received copies will be provided in order that legal measures may be taken. (No enclosure)
