Description
Two-page letter from Samuel Hale in Berwick, Maine to Joshua Winslow Pierce, telling him that the court sits at Dover on August 1 and theie cases stand first on the docket. It is necessary to decide now whether to have a trial or have the cases continued. If the Company is disposed to give him a bond of the promises for 12 months, Hale would be willing to relinquish his claim for damages.
