Letter from Daniel Webster in Washington, DC to Josiah C. Hovey, telling him tha he has forwarded the application for a Post Office at Plymouth Ponds to the Post Master General. Includes postcard illustrating the original Daniel Webster House, 1859 as well as Note from October 13, 1860 from Nahum Capen to J.C. Hovey with enclosed draft duplicate for $ 14.68. Also includes correspondence regarding the photocopy of the Webster letter from Mrs. Edward Holmes to Dartmouth College.
