Description

Letters include one to his wife, enclosing draft, letter to B.C. Lundy on Stephen Douglas, a pardon for Nathaniel Gordon, a letter to Amos Tuck regarding a political appointment, an endorsement on verso of petition from the women working in Philiadelphia arsenal to which Gov. Curtin has appended a letter of endorsement. Also includes three clipped signatures, including on of W.H. Seward, as well as a manuscript by Mrs. Lincoln.
