Three-page letter from Theodore French in Hanover to Thomas Mack in Gilmanton Corner, New Hampshire with a personal estimate of Profs. Crosby and Chase. Tells him that the incident concerning Prof.Chase, a victim of "scraping the professor." Story of scene in Pres.'s study regarding "female in the north building."
