Dartmouth College, Real Estate Office records May Be Restricted

The collection contains correspondence, agreements, conference books, property surveys, drawings, trial briefs, by-laws, newspaper articles, loans, tax files, correspondence files, leases, deeds, rent rolls, mortgages, quit claim deeds, reports, town plans, appraisals, and accounts.

The records document the activities of the real estate office including mortgage subsidies for faculty and staff, information on the Olmsted Heritage Landscapes Act, property investments and development, including Eastman, and complaints regarding development.

Miscellaneous office records related to rental housing, as well as tax files related to risk management, repurchasing options and the Advisory Council meetings are also included.
