Three-page letter from Charles Monroe Chase in Hanover to Henry Chase, regarding the student riot at St. Johnsbury with which writer was unfortunately connected. Student body is indignant at his separation, with others, from College. (For "disorderly conduct to, at, and from St. Johnsbury on the 7th of July" see faculty records). Nathan Lord and Redfield Procter will go home with writer.
