Winston S. Churchill collection
Description
The collection contains several drafts of galley proofs for Winston Churchill's book "A History of the English-Speaking People," volume 2 entitled "The New World," and volume 3, entitled "The Age of Revolution." Galley proofs for volume 6 of his book "Triumph and Tragedy (The Second World War)" are also included. In addition, the collection contains six letters from Churchill to a variety of people, including one referring to the loan of some documents for his biography of Lord Randolph Churchill, and one telegram from Churchill to Mrs. Jennings.
