Description

Two-page letter from Edwin Alonzo Thomas at Dartmouth College, Hanover to Alonzo Thomas, explaining to his parents that he has been to busy to write. The studies seem harder than usual and he has had work to make up since he fell behind while at home. He has had to pepare several exercises for societies etc. "Our class matter is settled at least the excitement is gone the president made such explanation as satisfied the class and all is quiet now." Inquires about Mr. Farr who had some kind of calamity while in Hanover. Includes envelope. (photocopy)
