Description

The papers of Walter Brooks Drayton Henderson contain correspondence on personal and literary matters. Correspondents include Rabindranath Tagore, Stella Benson, Naomi Michison, Francis Bangs and Arthur Symons. The collection also includes poems of Tagore in his hand, with corrections as well as a diary of a trip to Spain and France, course materials and lectures on Shakespeare, drafts of poetry, including "Castle in Spain" (published posthumously) and a commonplace book. A letter from Alfred Noyes containing Noyes' brief poems on poets Blake, Tagore Rabindranath, and Arthur Symons is also included.
