Description
Lease from the Dartmouth College Trustees for a ferry across the Connecticut River to town of Hanover, New Hampshire. The lease grants the town the right to the ferry for 999 years on the condition that the free bridge be passable and the lease be paid. Witnessed by Willaim W. Stickney and Andrew Wiggin.(Handwritten copy). Original signed by Amos Tuck and George W. Nesmith.
