Three-page letter from Nathan Lord in Hanover to Julia Marie (Kilham) Lord, telling him that he has need now to try to purge himself of alleged disloyalty, vindicate not only his patriotism, but his propriety and good taste. He is happy that his supposed disloyalty has brought him into a state of freedom.
