Description

30" x 42" Map depicts the Towns of Hanover and Norwich in 1975 with major roads, rivers, trails, and urban areas shown. It also outlines "Original College land" and "Original [Hanover] town." Insets show both Hanover and Norwich in different periods at differing scales.

Includes compass rose and pen-and-ink illustrations which include coats of arms, emblems or symbols representing the State of New Hampshire and the State of Vermont as well as Dartmouth College, and also including the Old Man of the Mountain in Franconia, N.H.
