The papers of Charles E. Griffith contain correspondence, printed and handwritten sheet music, scrapbooks, typescripts, and autograph book and biographical material. The material relates to his career as a composer and work with the Silver Burdett Co. and American Institute of Music Education. Correspondents include James Forrestal, Albert Payson Terhune and Arthur Foote. Of note is the engraved copper printing plate and a design for a bookplate as well as sheet music by Arthur Foote and sheet music and photographs related to the Philippines.
