 Collection
Identifier: DOH-587
DOH-587

Description

Jane Griffith, an antiwar activist, describes how she came to oppose US involvement in the Vietnam War. Her opposition led her to volunteer to serve as director of the humanitarian programs of the American Friends Service Committee (an organization of the Religious Society of Friends, also known as Quakers) in Vietnam from 1970 to 1973. In this capacity, she oversaw a rehabilitation center for Vietnamese war victims in Quang Ngai province in South Vietnam.
