The papers of Peyton R. Freeman contain student declamations, correspondence with Dartmouth notables including John Wheelock as well as correspondence related to Dartmouth College affairs. Drafts and the final manuscript of his text related to the Dartmouth College Case, "A refutation of sundry aspersions in the "Vindication" of the present trustees of Dartmouth college, on the memory of their predecessors" are also included.
