The papers of Ralph Haskins and the Haskins family contain correspondence, deeds, briefs, bills, receipts, accounts, petitions relating to the Haskins' legal battles between 1800 and 1875. Includes a letter by H. W. Longfellow to his father, Stephen, written on behalf of D. G. Haskins, a document signed by Ralph Walso Emerson and supplementary material regarding D. G. Haskins, Jr. Papers of other family members including the papers of C. S. Daveis are also included. Of note are the letters to Daniel Webster.
