Risley Family papers
Description
The papers of the Risley family contain personal and business letters, epitaphs for gravestones, accounts, property deeds, receipts and writings, including essays and poems, relating primarily to Asa Risley (1790-1862) and his son Lewis E. Risley (1824-1901). Of note are the sketches for gravestone inscriptions for Eleazer Wheelock, Sylvanus Ripley, Mary Brimstead, Mary Woodward, and Levi Newcomb.
