Two-page letter from Samuel Foster Haven in Antiquarian Hall to Levi Lincoln, sending information about Lincoln's declining to be a candidate for the Senate in 1827 before Webster was elected. Includes L. Lincoln's letter dated February 14, 1827 to the Speaker of the House as well as a portrait of Samuel Foster Haven.
