The correspondence of Samuel Gilman Brown contains letters written to him while he was the Evans Professor of Oratory and Belles-Lettres at Dartmouth College. The collection also includes a Pocket Almanac and Memorandum for 1861 and a list of subscribers to the Webster Professorship of Latin and the Choate Professorship of Greek.
