The collection contains correspondence, documents, manuscripts, and clippings relating to the murder of Christie Warden in Hanover, N.H., in 1891. The collection documents the kidnapping and killing of Warden as well as the manhunt, trial, execution of her murderer. In addition to letters of the Warden family, other correspondence, and clippings, both primary and secondary, the collection also includes explicite autopsy notes.
