Description
The papers of Betty Brainerd contain correspondence, writings, photographs, clippings, scrapbooks, as well as biographical material. Of note are clippings and typescripts of Brainerds newspaper column "We Women" as well as her correspondence with her husbands Henry Herbert McClure and George T. Stagg and her suitor Vilhjalmur Stefansson. Some material related to her parents Erastus and Mary Bella Beale Brainerd is also included.
