The collection contains photo albums, daguerreotypes, silhouettes, card-de-visits, ephemera and printed material related to Arthur Russel Virgin and the Virgin family. One album contains photographs of the family while traveling in Egypt, Greece, Israel, Italy, Spain, Turkey, and other countries. Other albums contain photographs of Virgin and his friends at Dartmouth College or playing sports and games of acting in theatricals. A notebook contains poems by Abigail Virgin.

Arthur Russell Virgin (1877-1968), banker. Dartmouth College Class of 1900. The collection contains photographs and photo albums of Virgin, family members, and friends.
