The material relates to his teaching and writing on philosophy at the Indiana University (1906,1912-1913), University of Texas (1906-1907), University of Chicago (1907-19090, University of Wisconsin (1909-1911), Cornell University (1913-1916) and Dartmouth College (1916-1947). Correspondents include Ernest F. Nichols. Some class and lecture material from his own student days are also included.
