Description

The papers of Hale G. Smith contain blueprints, technical drawings, sketches, instructions, photographs, models and notebooks relating primarily to his work as an aircraft engineer and inventor and his work on aerial photographic equipment inventions. Includes papers on his flight training simulator, strip film winder, and area measuring devices as well as ratio measuring instruments for aerial photographs. Some personal and biographical material is also included.
