Aaron Wright correspondence
Description
The correspondence of Aaron Wright consists of 18 dated and undated letters primarily from William Wright to his father Aaron Wright, and other family members including his mother Helena Wright, and his sister Julia Wright. The letters discuss his work for the West Point Foundry in West Point, New York, and for Samuel Partridge in Cold Springs, New York. He also discusses his declining health. Letters from Samuel Partridge to Aaron Wright informing Wright of William's death and offering to make arrangements for settling William's affairs and the return and disposal of his personal effects, are also included.
