Description
The collection contains material related to Eugene O'Neill including correspondence with Ralph Sanborn concerning Sanborn's bibliography of O'Neill's works, correspondence relating to a proposal that Dartmouth College award O'Neill an honorary degree and correspondence with Patrick O'Neill encouraging his literary ambitions. Other correspondents include Frank Shay, Ernest Martin Hopkins and Carlotta O'Neill. Typescript (working copy with O'Neill's ms. corrections) of O'Neill's play "Anna Christie" as well as galley proofs of his plays "Strange interlude" (2 sets, one with O'Neill's corrections) and "Dynamo" are also included.
