The papers of Henry Beston contain correspondence, manuscripts and lecture notes. Correspondents include H.F. West, H.G. Rugg, and F.M. Smith. Manuscripts represented are "The Outermost House" (1928), and "Introductory sections of American Memory" (1937). Notes for a lecture to H.F. West's class entitled Nature Writers are also included.
