The papers of George Sims include correspondence between Sims and book sellers, curators, literary agents and publishers, invoices and receipts for book purchases, prospectuses, dust jackets, clippings, catalogues, bulletins and ephemera as well as notebooks, manuscripts, typescripts, drafts and proofs. The material documents his business as a rare book dealer and writer of mystery novels. The collection is primarily arranged by novel in order of publication.
