Description

The collection contains letters written by Francis M. Shea to his wife while he was Assistant Attorney General (1942-1945) and during his tenure as associate counsel prosecuting the Nuremberg war crimes trials. The letters describe the organization of the trials as well as the physical setting and includes information on other members of the Allies prosecuting team as well as defendants.
