Clyde Eagleton papers
Description
The papers of Clyde Eagleton contain diaries, notes, and minutes of his work with the Department of State and in the founding of the United Nations. The material includes State Department memoranda and documents relating to an armed force for the United Nations, minutes and notes from the Dartmouth Oaks conferences planning for the United Nations (1944), State Department papers relating to the manufacture and sale of armaments, minutes, memoranda and notes on the United Nations Conference on International Organization (1945), and unpublished material prepared for the Brookings Institution. Of note is his diary from 1943-1944.
