Description

The papers of Alvar Carillo Gil consist of mimeographed notes on his collection of the works of artist Jose Clemente Orozco. The notes, once bound together are titled “Las Obras de Orozco en la Colleccion Carrillo” (“The Works of Orozco in the Carrillo Collection”). Professor Justino Fernandez provides an overview of the collection followed by an analyses of the works accompanied by tipped in photographic reproductions of each of piece. The works range from 1910 to 1944 and are ordered chronologically.
