The collection contains a notebook containing the holograph draft of his book "Theatrical Figures in Porcelain" which focuses on these figures in the eighteenth century. The draft contains holograph corrections and additions. Included are a series of eight letters to his editor, Lionel Carter, regarding the project and the manuscript as well as a copy of the published work.
