Description
The papers of Alexander A. McKenzie contain correspondence, photographs, lectures, a log book from the early days of the proposed Nicaragua canal work, and engineering drawings. Correspondents include his brother Charles, and friend Sam Harmon. The material documents his engineering work and experiences in Nicaragua and the establishment of the Heating Plant at Dartmouth College. Some material related to his brother Charles R. McKenzie is also included.
