Description

The records of the Hanover Historical Society contain both the administrative records and the historic collections of the Society. Meeting minutes, by-laws, donor information, photographs of Society holdings and audio recordings of Society programs comprise the bulk of the administrative record. The collections include diaries, letters, photographs, journals and ledgers, broadsides and maps documenting the history of the town of Hanover and its residents.

Abstract

The Hanover Historical Society was founded in 1961 as an organization to collect, preserve and make available materials relating to the history of Hanover, and to bring together people interested in local history. The records consist of Society's administrative documents and its historic collections of manuscripts and photographs relating to the Hanover community.
