Description

The papers of John Lord contain the manuscript for "Experience of a Lecturer for 50 Years," by Lord, as well as fan letters and petitions praising his lectures. Correspondents include Daniel Webster, Edward Everett and Lord's uncle and Dartmouth College president, Nathan Lord. Copyright certificates for several of Lord's publications, as well as a broadside announcing one of his lectures are also included.
