Description

The letters of Ruby Mildred Ayres contain eight letters written by Ayres. Three of the letters are addressed to Mr. Douglas Sladen, English poet, and pertain to invitations, thank yous, and other small personal matters. The remaining five letters are addressed to Mr. Leonard Moore, literary agent, and pertain to business matters involving serial installments being published. The letters document a few of the professional and personal interactions of Ayres’ within a brief period of her career as a prolific, popular novelist in England. They are printed on Corner Ways Sheepcote Road Harrow letterhead.
