Alan Cooke (1933-1989). Entered Dartmouth College in 1951. Also studied at McGill University and Cambridge, and acted as the librarian for the Stefansson Collection at Dartmouth. Consists of letters between Cooke and W. Gillies Ross documenting Cooke’s time among native peoples in Canada, his careers at McGill and Cambridge, and the involvement of both Cooke and Ross in Arctic research.
