Description

The Frank Barrett collection contains historic photographs (both original and reproductions), negatives, and color slides of houses, buildings, landscapes, streetscapes, schools, people and events in the Hanover, Etna and Lyme, NH area, including Dartmouth College buildings, dorms and fraternity houses. Most of the photographs were used in Mr. Barrett’s pictorial publications on the history of Hanover, NH. Also included is a report of Hanover’s Sewer System. A December 2008 addition contained negatives and prints that Barrett purchased from the Pierce photographic studio in Hanover. These images document Dartmouth buildings, college life and functions from circa 1930-1965.
