The papers of Ralph Sanborn contain correspondence with family and friends, notes and manuscripts of the economic history of Alaska, notes and manuscripts of "Business Life Insurance and correspondence, notes and manuscript of his "Bibliography of Eugene O'Neill. Of note is the correspondence with his family while he was a student at Dartmouth College and while on active service during World War I as well as the research material on Eugene O'Neill. Materials related to Sanborn's benefaction of the Dartmouth College Libraries including correspondence with Edward Connery Lathem and others concerning gifts, book collecting, and bibliography are also included. Also contains Dartmouth class of 1917 alumni materials.
