Description
The papers of Thomas George contain slides and photographs of his art work, sketches and sketchbooks, personal and professional correspondence, journals, exhibition catalogues and programs, cassette tapes, magazines, as well as clippings and other printed material chronicling his life as an artist. Correspondents include his father Rube Goldberg, his mother Irma Goldberg and his wife Laverne Goldberg, as well as Daniel Boorstein, Tom Ichinose, Henry Martin, Douglas Purnell, Karl Hoff and Tetsuo Yamada. Of note are the personal letters to fellow artist Arline Blumenthal.
