Additional Description
Abstract
The Green Key Society was founded in 1921, as a sophomore service organization whose primary function was providing hospitality to visiting representatives of other colleges, primarily athletic teams. The Society has evolved into a Junior honorary service organization with responsibilities at freshman orientation, commencement, and other College events. The records contain information about the Society, its contributions to the college, correspondence, committee materials, membership lists and financial records. Faculty advisors to the Society, as well as deans and other faculty members, are the primary contacts for correspondence files. Meeting minutes detail select meetings of particular meetings and the society as a whole. Committee records detail planning and implementation of various Society events and service roles.
