Hanover Consumer Cooperative Society, Inc. records

The Hanover Consumer Cooperative Society Records contain Board of Directors meeting minutes from 1936-2013; Co-op News bulletins from 1930s-2012; and historical documents related to the establishment and expansion of the Co-op. Key documents include HCCS bylaws and amendments, correspondence from New England Cooperatives, Inc. (their supplier organization), financial summaries, annual reports from the Co-op's executive board (for 1966-1970, 1990-2001), and documents related to the sale of the Co-op's land in Norwich, VT in the early 2000s. Photographs of members, directors, employees, departments and activities as well as a scrapbook with early correspondence and documents are also included. The collection also contains samples of sales bulletins.
