Description

The papers of Samuel Smith contain correspondence, clippings, and legal documents related to a physical altercation between Mr. Smith and an undergraduate student, Benjamin Hart. Mr. Hart worked for 'The Dartmouth Review,' a politically conservative campus newspaper.
