Description

The collection contains two folios collected by Douglas.

The first folio contains correspondence related to bookplates Bruce Rogers designed and printed for Lester Douglas. Also contains the original layout and examples of the plate in different colors.

The second folio contains correspondence with Bruce Rogers and Bill Kittredge of the Lakeside Press concerning the sale of the original matrices for Centaur type face. The folio has a specimen sheet of Centaur and Arrighi faces printed by Taylor & Taylor Press, San Francisco, CA. tipped in.
