Description

Letter to Paul Davidson, MD concerning Davidson's invitation to Clark to come to Georgia to teach. Clark discusses their mutual friends and expresses his feelings on slavery, abolitionism and the future of the Union. Clark reserves judgment on the slavery issue until he can see first hand the conditions in the South.
