The records of David J. Holmes Autographs contain correspondence, inventory cards, financial documents, catalogues, consignments, appraisals, want lists and auction records chronicling the business from its inception in 1972. Of note are the materials related to George Sims and George Talbot Goodspeed. Some material related to photographer and illustrative designer Ellis Neel who worked for Holmes in the 1990s, is also included.
