Harold Rugg papers
Description
The papers of Harold Goddard Rugg contain correspondence, writings and his autograph collection which include letters, envelopes, clipped signatures, notes and signed photographs from prominent writers, actors, opera singers, composers, educators, politicians and royalty. An undated manuscript page by Harriet Beecher Stowe and a manuscript fragment from Henry Thoreau, as well as miscellaneous letters from the 18th and 19th century are also included. The papers also contain diaries Rugg kept between 1896-1955, as well as notebooks with his class notes he took while a student at Dartmouth.
