Description

The collection contains two scrapbooks assembled by Bella Landauer. The first is thematically related to inventor Thomas Edison and contains autographs, a letter, menus, invitations, newspaper clippings, and engravings. The second scrapbook concerns Abraham Lincoln and Landauer's attempt to secure a signed holograph of Edwin Markham's poem, "Lincoln The Man of the People." The scrapbook contains letters from Bernhardt Wall, Irving Bacheller, and Anna C. Markham as well as holograph poems on Lincoln by Edwin Markham and Irving Bacheller.
