Description

The Frederick G. Snelling papers contain correspondence, journals, general orders, pencil sketches, clippings and ephemera documenting his service as an assistant surgeon with the 1st Regiment US Sharpshooters, 18th Army Corps, the Army of the Potomac and at Chesapeake General Hospital, during the Civil War.
